https://sleepyhollow.localarchives.org/files/original/3fa1beb273df18b705a28247d34b9b29.pdf dedfe3e2d66e2aafa1bb83694eb89705 PDF Text Text Meeting Date: 08/09/2022 Resolution #: 08/114/2022 RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF SLEEPY HOLLOW PROMOTING POLICE OFFICER TO SERGEANT OF POLICE WHEREAS, proper supervision within any police agency is essential to its efficient operations; and WHEREAS, the Sleepy Hollow Police Department has a vacancy in the Sergeant of Police position , and in order to maintain the efficiency of the Sleepy Hollow Police Department operations this position should be filled; and WHEREAS, Police Officer Gregory Lobato has taken the competitive Civil Service examination for the position of Sergeant of Police and presently is on the Civil Service Eligible List #71-706, ranking first place for this position, and WHEREAS, the Trustees who participated in the interviews, along with the Police Chief, have made the recommendation to promote Police Officer Gregory Lobato to the position of Police Sergeant. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees hereby approves the Mayor’s appointment of Police Officer Lobato to the rank of Police Sergeant, from Civil Service Eligible List #71-706 and, said promotion to become effective on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at an annual salary of $140,643.42 and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED said promotion is subject to a probationary period of twelve (12) to (52) fifty-two weeks and the approval of the Westchester County Department of Human Resources.
