A special meeting was held before the Board of Trustees of the
Village of North Tarrytown on the above date.

Mayor Zegarelli called the meeting to order at 8:00 P.M. and
stated that the purpose of the meeting was to award the bids on the
Village Garage and Strand Theater.
Trustee DiFelice moved, seconded by Trustee White that the package
price for the entire public works facility be accepted in the amount
of $535,113.00.
Carried.
Trustee Cavalieri moved, seconded by Trustee Gandolfo, that the
contract for the Village Garage be awarded to Somers Contracting,
Somers, N.Y. as follows:

contract for plumbing work be awarded to Herlihy &amp; Donovan in the amount
of $39,922.

for electrical work be awarded to Rigid Electric, Mt. Kisco, N.Y. as
follows:

Trustee Soriano moved, seconded by Trustee DiFelice that 200
calendar days for compliance be established for completion work. Carrie3
Trustee Gandolfo moved, seconded by Trustee Soriano, that the
liquidating damage rate be established at a rate of $100 per calendar
day.
Carried.
Trustee White moved, seconded by Trustee Timmings that the
contractors be notified by certified mail by January 1st, 1982.

Trustee Cavalieri moved, seconded by Trustee Gandolfo that the
Mayor be authorized to sign the contracts.
Carried.
Trustee Timmings moved, seconded by Trustee White that the
bid bonds from all but the top two bidders be returned immediately
and the others returned when we have a signed contract.
Carried.

Trustee Soriano moved to accept the bid of Laurentino Rodrigues,
56 Clinton St., No. Tarrytown, N.Y. for the former Strand Theater in
the amount of $45,000, subject to the provisions outlined in the public
notice.
