HAY 11, 1987

A special meeting was held before the Board of Trustees of
the Village of North Tarrytown on the above date.
Present:

Janet Gandolfo,
Mayor
Arthur Ceconi
Susan Galgano
Steven Salman
Allison Fine,
Trustees

Absent:

Alexander fudali
Francis Caro,
Trustees

Also Present:
R. Tom Homan, Administrator
Mayor Gandolfo called the meeting to order at 8:00 P.M.
and stated that the purpose of the meeting was to appoint a
Dep. Treasurer and a Bookkeeper.
The Administrator stated that Catherine GraYanese resigned
as Dep. Treasurer, May 5th, 1987. The office temporary who was
working with her indicated an interest in the position. Based
upon his qualification and knowledge of computer, the Administrator recommended his appointment.
As per recommendation of the Administrator, Trustee
Salman moved, seconded by Trustee Fine that Sunjay Shah be
appointed Dep. Treasurer at an annual salary of $27,000.
Said appointment will take effect immediately is subject to a
twelve (12) week probationary period and six (6) month Review.
Carried.
No action was taken on the bookkeepers position until such
time as the civil service list for bookkeeper is canvassed.
The salary range $18,000 - 20,000.
Trustee Galgano moved, seconded by Trustee Ceconi that
the Administrator be authorized to obtain an office temporary
to take the place of the bookkeeper until a person is hired,
at $12.00-15.00 per hour. Carried.
Mayor Gandolfo read the letter from Catherine Gravanese
resigning as Dep. Treasurer effective, May 5, 1987.

�-2Counsel Hughes stated that her termination at a previous
meeting still stands.
After discussion, Trustee Ceconi moved, seconded by Trustee
Salman that Catherine Gravenese resignation be accepted.
Trustees motion carried while Trustee fine opposed.
There being no further business to come before the meeting
Trustee Salman moved, seconded by Trustee Galgano that the meeting
be adjourned. Carried.
