The Mayor s t a t e d t h a t t h i s was a s p e c i a l meeting t o p a s s a few
r e s o l u t i o n s . Mayor Gandolfo read r e s o l u t i o n #11/134/88 which i s
attached.
The V i l l a g e Attorney s t a t e d that a r e s o l u t i o n should be passed
s t a t i n g t h a t t h e sum of $ 2 0 , 0 0 0 . be t r a n s f e r r e d from t h e
Appropriations for Contingencies t o t h e P o l i c e Department on a
temporary b a s i s pursuant t o S e c t i o n 5-520 s u b d i v i s i o n 4 of t h e
V i l l a g e Law. After a b r i e f d i s c u s s i o n , the motion was amended t o
read t h a t the e q u i v a l e n t of William O t e r o ' s s a l a r y and b e n e f i t s
be t r a n s f e r r e d from t h e Appropriations f o r Contingency account t o
t h e P o l i c e Department.
T r u s t e e Coon so moved, seconded by
Trustee C i c c h e t t i and motion c a r r i e d . Trustee Treacy voted NO.
Mayor Gandolfo read r e s o l u t i o n #11/132/88 regarding the promotion
of J e r r y Navin t o s k i l l e d l a b o r e r ( a t t a c h e d ) . A f t e r a b r i e f
d i s c u s s i o n , a motion t o t a b l e u n t i l t h e next board meeting was
made by Trustee C i c c h e t t i , seconded by Trustee Treacy.

c a r r i e d 5-2 with Mayor Gandolfo and Trustee Hyland v o t i n g NO.
Mayor Gandolfo read t h e f o l l o w i n g r e s o l u t i o n :
R e s o l v e d , t h a t t h e Board o f T r u s t e e s h e r e b y approve t h e
p u r c h a s e o f equipment t o be used t o d i s p e n s e l i q u i d c a l c i u m
c h l o r i d e t o a s s i s t w i t h the removal of snow and i c e with c o s t of
s a i d equipment not t o exceed $7000. Said equipment t o include a
s t o r a g e tank, a pump u n i t with s h e l t e r and two (2) a p p l i c a t o r s
w i t h i n s t a l l a t i o n o f a l l equipment.
T r u s t e e F i n e s o moved,
seconded by Trustee Coon. After a b r i e f d i s c u s s i o n , Trustee Coon
made a motion t o t a b l e the previous motion, seconded by Trustee
Hyland and motion c a r r i e d , with Trustee Fudali v o t i n g NO.

period of not less than twelve (12) weeks, nor more than twenty-six (26)
weeks.
