                  <text>A Tax Grievance Hearing was held on Tuesday, February 20.1990
from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM in Village Hall, North Tarrytown, New
York.

Mayor Gandolfo opened the tax grievance hearings at 4:00 PM
stating that the Board of Trustees will act as the Board of
Assessors.

Applicants state that the new assessment is too high.

Mr. A. Flennell, President of the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery states
that this parcel is not suitable for burial as it is in the flood
plains, and most of the land is under the Pocantico River. Feels
that the evaluators did not take this into account. Ms. Tadasfoy
explained the formula used to consider the assess value. Mr.
Flennell requested that property be tax-exempt. Mayor stated
the Board would consider their grievance.

Applicant states that her assessment notices have the wrong

the village Assessor. She has asked the to board to have the

properties were reviewed and found to be in order.

Pleasant has listed as tax-exempt and would like the Village to
do the same. Mayor advised Hackley school would hear by March
31.

by reduced by 50%. Mayor stated she would have Assessor review
her grievance.
