                  <text>A Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees was held on Wednesday,
March 20, 1996 at 8:30 PM in Village Hall, 28 Beekman Avenue,
North Tarrytown, New York.
Present:

John T. Hayes, Jr. (Arrived Late)

Also Present: Linda E. David, Village Administrator/Clerk
Donal M. Walsh, Jr. Village Attorney
Absent:

Trustee Scott Horecky
Trustee Michael Hyland

Mayor Treacy called the meeting to order with a pledge to the
flag.
Trustee Blanco moved, second by Trustee Sweet to open the
meeting, motion carried.
Mayor Treacy commented that this will be a short meeting to
certify the results of the village election which was held
yesterday and also to approve the warrants to pay our bills.
Approval of Warrants
Trustee Alter moved, second by Trustee Sweet to approve the
warrants and authorize the Treasurer the pay the bills in the
Capital fund for a total of $5441.66.
Trustee Alter moved, second by Trustee Blanco to approve the
warrants and authorize the Treasurer to the pay the bills in the
Water fund for a total of $3858.43.
Trustee Blanco moved, second by Trustee Alter to approve the
warrants and authorize the Treasurer to pay the bills in the
General fund for a total of $128,996.26.
Trustee Sweet asked if the work done by ESC Industries for
repairs to the pump house chart machines could possibly be done
in house to save money. Linda David commented that she would
check into it.
Trustee Sweet moved, second by Trustee Alter to accept the
results of the village election held on March 19, 1996 and the
attached canvass of votes was read and signed by the Mayor and
trustees.
Trustee Sweet commented on the total number of ballots cast.
He commented that the total number of votes exceeded the total
number of ballots indicated on the sheet having voted on that
night and felt that this could not be possible.
Linda David commented that it may be because some
vote.

�Brief discussion ensued.
Mayor Treacy asked Jose Chevere, a newly elected trustee, who was
in the audience if he would like to say a few words.
Jose Chevere thanked everyone who voted for him and hoped that he
would gain the confidence of those who did not and he was looking
forward to working with Mayor and Board of Trustees for the next
two years.
Mayor Treacy thanked everyone for getting out and voting.
Trustee Alter asked to make one recreation announcement
pertaining to registration for the Babe Ruth League which will
take place this Saturday, March 23rd from 10-12 in the Recreation
Department for 13,14 and 15 year olds.
Trustee Blanco congratulated the newly elected trustees. He
thanked everyone who made his two years in office pleasurable and
thanked his family for their support.
Trustee Sweet expressed his appreciation to Trustee Blanco for
the work they have accomplished over the past year
and
congratulated Pat Ramsey, Jose Chevere and Mario DiFelice.
There being no further business, Trustee Sweet moved, second by
Trustee Alter to adjourn the meeting.
