The meeting was called to order by Richard Weiss, Chair at 8:09 p.m. The Chair noted that a
quorum was present.

John Schnaufer is the attorney and is representing this application.
John Schnaufer stated that this property is under contract to the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. He
stated that there is an option to purchase 2 acres back by the family to add onto the Rockefeller
family cemetery. He stated that this is a 25-year option.
The Chair stated that if the option is exercised, would the property be used for the cemetery.
John Schnaufer responded yes.
The Chair stated that the tree buffer on the Route 9 corridor should be maintained.
John Schnaufer stated that the buffer retention and maintenance should be the responsibility of
the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
The Committee unanimously agreed that this application is consistent with the LWRP with the
condition that the applicant makes a commitment to maintain the existing tree buffer on the
Route 9 corridor.

2) Approval of minutes –
The minutes from the November 2008 meeting were reviewed.

�Doug Maass made a motion to approve the minutes as amended. Karin Adir seconded. It was
unanimous (5-0).
