                  <text>An Organization Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow
was held on Tuesday, April 8, 1997 at 8 PM in Village Hall, 28 Beekman Avenue,
Sleepy Hollow, New York.

Mayor Treacy called the meeting to order with a pledge to the flag.
The Mayor stated that the first order of business was the swearing in of the newly
elected officials.
Sean Treacy, Patrick J. Munroe, Michael Collins and John Lewis were sworn in by
Linda David, Village Administrator/ Village Clerk.
Mayor Treacy appointed Joaquin F. Alemany as Acting Village Justice for a term of
one year, second by Trustee Munroe and carried. Mr. Alemany was then sworn in
by Linda David.

Mayor Treacy appointed Trustee Alter as Deputy Mayor.
Mayo»* Treacy reappointed Louis Falasca to the ARB for a term of four years,
second by Trustee DiFelice, carried. He reappointed Barbara Fina to the ARB for a
term of four years, second by Trustee Collins, carried.
Mayor Treacy reappointed James Timmings, Jr. and Sean McCarthy to the Bureau
of Fire Prevention, second by Trustee Chevere and carried. The Mayor appointed
Fire Chief Robert Moon to the Bureau of Fire Prevention, second by Trustee
Chevere, carried. The Mayor appointed Gary McLean to the Bureau of Fire
Prevention, second by Trustee Chevere, carried 4-1 with Trustee DiFelice voting no.

�Mayor Trcacy reappointed Donald Stcver, Walter Ccconi, Richard Weiss, Nicholas
Cicchctti and James Donovan to the Conservation Advisory Council, second by
Trustee DiFclice and carried.
Mayor Treacy reappointed Trisha Meade, Lisa Dcntc, Henrietta Brand and Sal
Donzclla to the Cultural Council, second by Trustee Chcvere and carried.
Mayor Trcacy reappointed Angela Everett as Deputy Village Clerk, second by
Trustee Chcvere and carried.
Mayor Trcacy appointed Miguel Jimenez to fill the unexpired term of Jose Chcvere
and John Whclan to fill unexpired term of Thomas Stauder on the Economic
Development Advisory Council, second by Trustee Chcvere motion carried with
Trustee DiFclice voting no on the appointment of Miguel Jimenez. Said terms to
expire in 1998.

Mayor Trcacy reappointed Anthony Soares as Journeyman on the Electrical Board
for a term of three years, second by Trustee DiFclice and carried.
Mayor Trcacy reappointed Catherine Wolfe, Ralph Gunderman and Angclo
LoMascolo to the Environmental Council for a term of two years, second by Trustee
Chcvere and carried.
Mayor Trcacy appointed Reggie Laitc to the Ethics Board for a term of two years,
second by Trustee Chevere and carried. Thc-Mayor reappointed Marie Nicol and
Monica Timmiiigs for a term of two years, second by Trustee Chcvere and carried.
Mayor Treacy appointed Anthony Appolonio to the Fire Board of Appeals for a
term of five years, second by Trustee Chevere and carried. He appointed Charles
DePaolo to fill the unexpired term of Stanley Pulaski which ends 2001, second by
Trustee DiFclice and carried.
Mayor Trcacy reappointed John Vcnuti, Rita Pulsoni and John Maltby to the
Handicapped Committee for a term of two years, second by Trustee DiFelicc and
carried. The Mayor commented that we have a vacancy and anyone interested,
please let him know. Trustee DiFclice commented that Mrs. Kelly on Kendall
Avenue would be interested.

Mayor Trcacy appointed Trustee Ramsey as liaison to the Library Board, second by
Trustee DiFclice and carried. The Mayor reappointed Meredith Trede to the
Library Board for a term of five years, second by Trustee Chevere and carried.
Mayor Trcacy appointed William Davis to the Sleepy Hollow Housing Authority for
a term of five years, second by Trustee DiFclice and carried.

�Mayor Treacy stated that the Official Depository of Funds are the Bank of New
York, First Union, Chase , Union State and Sleepy Hollow National Bank, second by
Trustee Chevere and carried.
Mayor Treacy stated that the Official Newspaper is the Westchester Gannett
Newspaper, second by Trustee Chevere and carried.
Mayor Treacy stated that the Official Parliamentary Procedures to be used is
Roberts Rules of Order, second by Trustee DiFelice and carried.
Mayor Treacy reappointed Sal Donzella to the Parking Authority for a term of three
years, second by Trustee Chevere and carried.
Mayor Treacy reappointed Joanne Becker to the Planning Board for a term of five
years, second by Trustee DiFelice and carried.
Mayor Treacy reappointed Gus Donovan and Peter Gaspcrini as Journeymen to the
Plumbing Board, second by Trustee Chevere and carried.
Mayor Treacy reappointed Adrian Domingues and William Herlihy as Master
Plumbers to the Plumbing Board, second by Trustee Chevere and carried.
Mayor Treacy reappointed Gary McLean as Plumbing Inspector, second by Trustee
Chevere, carried 4-1 with Trustee DiFelice voting no.
Mayor Treacy appointed Pastor James McRea as Police Chaplain, second by
Trustee DiFelice and carried.
Mayor Treacy reappointed Dr. Elio Ippolito as Police Surgeon , second by Trustee
DiFelice and carried.
Mayor Treacy appointed Henrietta Brand and Benito Martinez to the Recreation
Commission for a term of five years each, second by Trustee Collins and carried.
Mayor Treacy reappointed Filomena Fallacaro as Village Registrar, second by
Trustee DiFelice and carried.
Mayor Treacy reappointed Emil Imhof as Senior Citizen Commissioner, second by
Trustee Chevere and carried.
Mayor Treacy appointed Jim Laird and Sunny McLean to the Tourism Committee,
second by Trustee Chevere and carried.

Village Board Room for a Public Hearing on the proposed 1 9 9 7 - 1 9 9 8 budget for
the Village off Sleepy Hollow. Should the elevator be out off order the hearing will
be held in the court room.

place of residence at least twenty four hours prior to the start of the meeting.

�Public Works Report
April 15,1997

Approximately thirty trees came down during the last storm.
We are cleaning up the remainder of the trees that fell during the last storm.
Also, continuing with ongoing tree trimming/removal.
We urge residents to please cut brush up into five (5) foot lengths before placing at
the curb on Mondays.
Patching potholes throughout the village.
The sidewalk 50/50 program will start again in June when funds become available.
Paving will start again in June.
The village will enter into its water main rehabilitation program this Spring.
Hopefully, the program will be continued each year.
A new water main valve will be installed on Holland Avenue next week.
Our lighting program (upgrading fixtures) will start again the beginning of May.
