<text>A worksession of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow was held on
Tuesday, September 16,1997 at 8:00 PM in Village Hal, 28 Beekman Avenue,
Sleepy Hollow, New York.
Present:

Mayor Sean Treacy

Also Present: Linda £. David, Village Administrator
Janet Gandolfo, Village Attorney
The Board of Trustees heard many comments from residents regarding the film
proposed by Universal Studios to be made in the Philipse Manor section of Sleepy
Hollow.
After a rather lengthy evening of comments from many residents, the entire Board,
by a general consensus, unanimously voted to direct the Village Attorney to start
negotiating a contract with Universal Studios that would clearly address the
concerns voiced by village residents at this worksession. Before any permit would
be issued, the Board would have to vote to authorize that the contract be executed.
Only at that time would the film permit be issued.
Since the hour was late, 11:35 PM, the Board voted to adjourn the entire open
worksession agenda to September 30,1997 and to go into Executive Session to
discuss litigation and personnel and the Board directed the Village Attorney to settle
a property damage claim against the village.
Respectfully swMmtted,
LindaTE/bavia—
Village Administrator
