A work session of the Board of Trustees was held on October 15.1998.

The following resolutions were adopted:

Resolution #10-131-98
Be It resolved that resolution number 05-73-97 adopted on May 20.1997 by the
Sleepy Hollow Board of Trustees Is hereby reconfirmed and the guidelines
implemented at that time regarding public comments shall be enforced by the
Board hereinafter.

Be It resolved the Board of Trustees authorises the Mayor to execute the
contract with Westchester County to proceed with the Beekman Avenue
Sidewalk Improvement Project.

�Whereat, the Tillage Invited bids from three (9) engineering Arms which
have worked on projects similar to the Beekman Avenue Sidewalk
Improvement Project; and
Whereas, only one (1) bid was received and that bid was from lames Hahn
Engineering Company: and
Whereas, the Village has retained lames Hahn Engineering Company for
several projects In the past and found their services to be satisfactory;
Now. therefore, be It resolved the Board of Trustees authorizes the Mayor to
execute the attached agreement with lames Hahn Engineering Company for
professional services for the project known M the Beekman Avenue Sidewalk
Improvement Project.
Be It further resolved that lames Hahn Engineering Company shall be paid
according to the schedule of salaries contained In the attached agreement but
In no event shall the Village's engineering costs exceed $89,800. More
specifically, the Village's costs for the Design Work Is not to exceed the amount
of $10,000; the Village's costs for the Bids Review Is not to exceed $5,000; and the
Village's costs for the construction administration Is not to exceed $6,000 to
$8,000 per month of construction of $18,000 to $16,000 for the entire project.
