                  <text>A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held on Tuesday, December 28,1999
at 8:00 PM in Village Hall, 28 Beekman Avenue, Sleepy Hollow, New York.

Mayor Zegarelli called the meeting to order with a prayer and pledge to the flag.
He commented that this will be a short meeting to take care of a few important
items.
The Mayor commented that he has reached an agreement with the Police
Department on various points of fact and negotiated settlement on a new police
contract which would be for four years of which one and one-half years have
already lapsed. On behalf of the village, pending confirmation on the part of the
Board of Trustees, the Mayor signed off on the heads of agreement to be formulated
into the contract. This was also signed by Trustee Higle who was part of the
negotiations.
Mayor Zegarelli asked that a motion be made to confirm the actions of the Mayor
and the police settlement subject to the final and definite write-up of the contract;
Trustee Higle so moved, seconded by Trustee Hart and motion carried 5-0.
The Mayor acknowledged receipt of the completion of the appraisal of the General
Motors property and the Board will discuss this at the next worksession. The Town
of Mt. Pleasant and the Tarrytown School district will each pay 1/3 of the cost of the
appraisal.
Acting Village Treasurer gave an update on the computer system.
Mayor Zegarelli thanked Joe DeMilia, our Village Auditor for all his help.
Approval of Warrants
Trustee DiFelice moved, seconded by Trustee Higle to approve the warrants of
December 28th and authorize the treasurer to pay the bills, motion carried 5-0.
The total of the General fund is $ 35,146.80, total of Water &amp; Sewer fund is $336.08
and the total of the Capital fund is $1660.00.
There being no further business, Trustee DiFelice moved, seconded by Trustee Higle
to adjourn the meeting, carried.
