Present: Mayor Philip Zegarelli Mario DiFelice James Hart Robert Higle Also Present: Absent: Trustees Barbara Napoli, Village Treasurer Patricia Rodriguez Richard Zieja Donald Stcver Trustees . . Brian Murphy, Village Attorney Mayor Zegarelli called the meeting to order at 7:15 PM and stated that the purpose of this meeting was to adopt the 2000-2001 budget. He then gave a brief overview of the budget and brief explanation of homestead and non-homestead rate. Resolutions-Attached Trustee DiFelice commented that we should pass a resolution stating the tax increase. Trustee DiFelice moved, seconded by Trustee Hart that the increase in tax rate for homestead is 3.78% and non-homestead is 2.72%, motion carried 4-0. Approval of Warrants Trustee DiFelice moved, seconded by Trustee Higle to approve the warrants and authorize the Treasurer to pay the bills, subject to any changes that may be needed once the warrants and invoices have been reviewed further, motion carried, 4-0. The total of the General fund is $220,612.95, the Water & Sewer fund total is $ 35,520.91 and the Capital fund total is $ 12,820.77. There being no further business, Trustee DiFelice moved, seconded by Trustee Hart to adjourn the meeting, carried.
