Present: Frank Arvan, Chairperson Lou Falasca Robert Barstow Also Present: Absent: James Margotta, Building Inspector Anagret Rice Elena Malunis IN THE MATTER OF THE VILLAGE WINE ESPIRITS SHOPPE & VIDEO VISIONS. 32-43 BEEKMAN AVENUE. NORTH TARRYTOWN. NEW YORK Temporary sign approval was requested by Mr. Rodriquez, owner of the new liquor store. His sign will be in accordance with the new video store's sign, both of which will be 3' x 3' on white backgrounds with burgundy letters. Motion to certify the temporary signs was made by Lou Falasca and seconded by Frank Arvan. IN THE MATTER OF PEDRO LOPEZ. 30 NEW BROADWAY. NORTH TARRYTOWN. NEW YORK At the ARB meeting of November 29, it was decided that each of the board should visit the house and consider Mr. Lopez's request to put the new brick siding and half vinyl siding as replacement for the current asbestos siding. Mr. Arvan commented that he visited the site, and felt that it would be inappropriate for the half and half look, and it should be completely re-sided with the brick veneer. Both Mr. Falasca and Mr. Barstow agreed with him. It was decided that a letter should be sent to Mr. Lopez telling him of the Board's decision and he should have new plans submitted in time for the next ARB meeting to be held in January, (copy of letter is attached). The half brick , half clapboard siding design is not acceptable. In addition, we will require detailed plans of the siding at the windows and frieze board.
