Present: Frank Arvan, Chairman Louis Falasca Robert Barstow Also Present: Absent: James Margotta, Bldg. Inspector Anagret Rice Elena Malunis IN THE MATTER OF MIGUEL JIMENEZ, 66 Beekman Avenue, No. Tarrytown, N. Y. 10591 Mr. Jimenez is requesting certification for a new awning sign at the above location. The sign would have a 3 ft. projection over the storefront. It will have white lettering on a Lupin (6417) background. Lettering will be 6" high and 80" long and will read "Jimenez's Intimates". A motion to certify the sign was made by Frank Arvan and seconded by Lou Falasca. Motion passed unamiously. IN THE MATTER OF UNCLE JERRY'S RESTAURANT, 410 North Broadway, North Tarrytown, New York. Mr. Nima Badaly of Badaly & Badaly, Architects represented Uncle Jerry's before the Board. He presented a sketch indicating a new addition which would give the new restaurant a green house look on the south west corner of the building. The new addition would have the same color roof as the present mansard roof has, but would be of different design. The Board asked where the air conditioning unit would go, and a discussion was held as to changing the design concept and relocating the green house addition to the front of the building. Other suggestions were made to draw the all the previous additions and the proposed one into one smooth flowing unit. Mr. Badaly presented the proposed 12ft. sign with 16 inch letters which would be on a turquoise background attached to the stucco with the name "Uncle Jerry's". Discussion took place regarding recommended changes to the design by Bob Barstow and Frank Arvan. Mr. Arvan was reluctant to approve any design without the full board present. He also added he would like to see some of the recommeded changes in the design be incoporated into new drawings. 12 �Page A motion to certify the sign was made by Frank Arvan and seconded by Lou Falasca. Motion passed unamiously. A Motion to table the request to certify the building plans until the next meeting on February 28, was made by Frank Arvan and seconded by Lou Falasca. As there was no other business meeting adjourned at 9:15PM. Next meeting will be February 28, 1990 at 8:00PM.
