A work session meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow was
held on Tuesday, October 2, 2001 at 8:15 PM in Village Hall, 28 Beekman Avenue,
Sleepy Hollow, New York.
Present:

Mayor Phillip Zegarelli
Don Stever
Michael Zija

Patricia Rodriguez, Trustees

Also Present:

Barbara Napoli, Treasurer
Dwight Douglas, Administrator

At 8:15 PM Mayor Zegarelli called the worksession to order to review and discuss
agenda items.
Mayor Zegarelli then read a letter accepting Josh Torres of 100 College Avenue, Sleepy
Hollow, NY, 10591, as a new member of Columbia Hose, the Sleepy Hollow Fire
Department, as of September 25,2001.
Resolution # $ 935,000 TAN - Mayor Zegarelli then read the Resolution to give
Barbara Napoli Treasurer, authority to accept bids on a Tax Anticipation Note for $
935,000, offered by Trustee Hart and second Trustee Higle, carried unanimously.
Resolution # Deputy Clerk to Full Time Position - Sonja Goldstein-Suss was
appointed to the Full Time Deputy Clerk position at an annual salary of $ 52,000 to
expire April 2002. offered by Trustee Hart, second by Trustee Rodriguez.
It was then proposed that Robin Pell sell the old senior van at the upcoming VILLAGE
OF SLEEPYHOLLOW auction.

Be it Resolved that the Board of Trustees does hereby ratify the Mayor's appointment of
Sonja Goldstein-Suss to the position of full time Deputy Clerk for a term commencing
October 1,2001 and ending on the first Monday of April 2002, at the following annual
salary:
Sonja Goldstein-Suss - $52,000

Moved by Trustee Hart, seconded by Trustee Rodriguez and carried unanimously.
