Minutes of the Board of Trustees
Village of Sleepy Hollow
A work session of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow was held on
Tuesday, October 16,2001 at 7:00 P.M. in Village Hall, 28 Beekman Avenue, Sleepy
" HollowrNew York.

At 7;00 p.m. Mayor Zegarelli called the work session to order to review and discuss
agenda items.
At 8:30 p.m. Mayor Zegarelli called a special meeting of the Board of Trustees to order
to consider the following actions:
Resolution Ml Bid out DeVries Field Lighting—authorized the Recreation Department,
subject to final review of the Administrator and Counsel, to solicit Bidsfor DeVries Field
Lighting Improvements, said Bids to be returned by 10:00 a.m., November 13 , with a
potential extension to Nov. 2CT.~ offered by Trustee Higle, second Trustee Zieja, carried
unanimously.
Resolution §2 Senior Citizen tax exemption -On a motion of Trustee Stever, seconded by
Trustee Hart, carried unanimously, the attached resolution was adopted.

At 8:35 p.m. on a motion of Trustee DiFelice, seconded by Trustee Higle, passed
unanimously the special meeting of the Trustees was adjourned and an executive session
to discuss certain personnel issues convened.

Be it Resolved, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow does hereby
approve the following income scale for the partial property tax exemption for senior
citizens for the 2002 Assessment Roll according to Section 467 of the Real Property
Tax Law.
