Minutes of the Board of Trustees
Village of Sleepy Hollow
A work session of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow was held on
Tuesday, February 5th, 2002 at 7:00 P.M. in Village Hall, 28 Beekman Avenue, Sleepy
Hollow, New York.
Present:

Mayor Philip E. Zegarelli
Deputy Mayor Mario DiFelice
Patricia M. Rodriquez
DonStever
Robert Higle
Richard Zieja
James Hart
Trustees

Also Present: Dwight H. Douglas, Village Administrator
Jerry Fine, Village Engineer
At 7:00 p.m. Mayor Zegarelli called the work session to order to various agenda items.
At 8:30 p.m. the Mayor called a special meeting of the Board of Trustees to order to
consider and act on the February 5,2002 warrant and to establish a tax grievance date.
Trustee Stever moved that the February 5,2002 warrant be approved subject to final
review by the Mayor. Trustee Hart seconded the motion. After some limited discussion
the motion was amended to include a $375.00 payment to the Village photographer,
Margaret Fox. The amended motion carried unanimously.
The attached resolution setting tax grievance day as February 19*, 2002 was reviewed
and adopted as noted.
At 8:35 p.m. on a motion of Deputy Mayor DiFelice, seconded by Trustee Hart, carried
unanimously, the special meeting was adjourned and an executive session to review labor
negotiations and land acquisition negotiations commenced. At 9:35 p.m. the executive
session ended.
