Minutes of the Board of Trustees
Village of Sleepy Hollow
A work session of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow was held on
Tuesday, January 7th, 2003 at 7:00 P.M. in Village Hall, 28 Beekman Avenue, Sleepy
Hollow, New York.
Present:

Mayor Philip E. Zegarelli
Mario DiFelice
Richard Spota
Richard Zieja
Donald Stever

Trustees

Also Present: Dwight H. Douglas, Village Administrator
Jimmy Warren, Police Chief
Joel Sachs, Special Counsel
At 7:50 p.m. Mayor Zegarelli called the meeting into executive session to discuss
property acquisition negotiations and personnel issues. At 8:20 p.m. the Board of
Trustees came out of executive session. At 8:30 p.m. on a motion of Trustee Zieja,
Seconded by Trustee Spota a special meeting of the Board of Trustees was convened in
order to act on the attached resolutions, which were duly acted on as noted.
At 8:50 p.m. on a motion of Trustee Stever, seconded by Trustee Spota and carried
unanimously the special meeting was adjourned.

Be it Resolved that the Board of Trustees does hereby approve the Mayor's
appointment of Cielo Canola, 1310 Route 35. South Salem, New York as
Intermediate Clerk/Spanish Speaking from eligible list # 02-100 at an annual salary
of $34,500.00 effective January 8,2003.
Said appointment is subject to a probationary period of twelve to fifty-two weeks
and the approval of Westchester County Department of Human Resources.

Said appointment is subject to a probationary period of twelve to fifty-two weeks
and the approval of the Westchester County Department of Human Resources.
