Minutes of the Board of Trustees
Village of Sleepy Hollow
A work session of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow was held on
Tuesday, May 20th, 2003 at 7:00 P.M. in Village Hall, 28 Beekman Avenue, Sleepy
Hollow, New York.
Present:

Mayor Philip E. Zegarelli
Mario DiFelice
Don Stever
Jim Hart
Richard Spota
Richard Zieja
Kay Brown Grala

Abraham Zambrano, Treasurer
David Smith, Planning Consultant

At 7:20 p.m. Mayor Zegarelli called the board into special session to provide for a
continuation of public comment on the draft scoping outline for the Draft Environmental
Impact Statement to be prepared for the Lighthouse Landing Project. A stenographer was
present to take such comment and the stenographic record thus provided will be kept as a
separate public record in the office of the Village Clerk.
At 8 p.m. on a motion of Trustee Stever that the public scoping session be closed and that
the close of business on June 6th, 2003 be established as the deadline for receipt of written
comments on the scoping outline, seconded by Trustee Zieja and carried 6 ^ 0 (Trustee
Hart having left to attend a different meeting), the public scoping session was closed. On
a motion of Trustee DiFelice, seconded by Trustee Spota and carried unanimously, the
special session for public comment was adjourned, and the work session of the board of
trustees continued.
At 8:45 p.m. Mayor Zegarelli called a special meeting of the Board of Trustees to order
to act on the attached resolution, which was duly acted on as noted.
At 8:50 p.m. On a motion of Trustee DiFelice, seconded by Trustee Grala, and carried
unanimously, the special meeting of the Board of Trustees was adjourned and the board
went into executive session for personnel.
