Minutes of the Board of Trustees
Village of Sleepy Hollow
A work session of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow was held on
Tuesday, May 11,2004 at 7:00 P.M. in the boardroom at Village Hall, 28 Beekman
Avenue, Sleepy Hollow, New York.
Present:

At 7:20 p.m. on a motion of Trustee Zieja, seconded by Trustee Hart, the Mayor called
the board into special session to and act on certain legislative matters. On a motion of
Trustee Zieja, seconded by Trustee Murray and carried unanimously the Mayor's
appointments to the Sleepy Hollow Ambulance Corp. were confirmed as follows:
Ron Conners promoted to acting - 2nd Lieutenant
Miguel Valle promoted to acting - 3 rd Lieutenant
John Cockerill promoted to acting - Chief Driver
During the special session, the attached resolutions R-l through R-5 were duly acted on
as noted. On a motion of Trustee Murray, seconded by Trustee Zieja and subject to the
review, and approval of the Mayor and Village Treasurer the warrant of May 11th, 2004
and any vouchers as consolidated in said warrant were unanimously approved.
At 7:35 p.m., on a motion of Trustee Zieja, seconded by Trustee Grala, the Board went
into executive session for the purpose of reviewing certain contractual compliance issues.
At 7:55 p.m. on a motion of Trustee Spota, seconded by Trustee Hart and carried
unanimously the board came out of executive session.
At 8:10 p.m. on a motion of Trustee DiFelice, seconded by Trustee Spota and carried
unanimously, the special session meeting of the Board of Trustees was adjourned.

Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow
Scheduling a Public Hearing on
Modifications to Village's Escrow Fee Ordinance
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow (the Village
Board) have proposed a review of certain modifications to the Village's escrow fee
ordinance.; and
WHEREAS, the Village Board feels that the proposed revisions are necessary in order to
better protect the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of Sleepy Hollow.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, thatthe Village Board does hereby schedule a
public hearing on the proposed modifkations to the Village's escrow fee ordinance for
June 15, 2004 at 8:00 PM at Village Hall, 28 Beekman Avenue/Sleepy Hollow, New York,
10591 so as to provide an opportunity for the public to be heard on this matter.

Resolution To Contract ABC Web Designers to Upgrade and Redesign the Website
of the Village of Sleepy Hollow.

Whereas, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow in its continuous
effort to upgrade the Village's technology and to provide better services to its tax payers
and residents, is desirous to upgrade the Village's Website, and
Whereas, two proposals were received for said website upgrade and redesign, the
Village Board, based on the proposals submitted, wishes to contract ABC Web Designers
of P.O. Box 863, Sleepy Hollow, NY 10591 to perform such task.
Now, Therefore, be it Resolved, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Sleepy Hollow authorizes the Mayor of the Village of Sleepy Hollow to sign a contract
with ABC Web Designers to upgrade and redesign the Village's Website and to take
other such steps as are necessary to effectuate the intent of this resolution.

Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow to reduce the
amount appropriated for the TAN Payable account for fiscal year 2002-2003.
Whereas, the Village Board of the Village of Sleepy Hollow adopted a budget for
fiscal year 2002-2003 in the amount of S8,778,200 in April 2002 that included funding
for payment of a Tax Anticipation Note (TAN), and
Whereas, $280,000 was approved and appropriated to the TAN Principal &amp;
Interest Account for the payment of a Tax Anticipation Note (TAN) obtained in May
2002, and
Whereas, of the $280,000 originally budgeted, $140,000 was determined to not be
required for its budgeted purpose.
Now, Therefore, be it Resolved, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Sleepy Hollow authorizes the reduction of the amount appropriated for the TAN Payable
account (#A9720.7040) for fiscal year 2002-2003 from $280,000 to $140,000.
